If you publish content regularly, you donβt need βremove AI metadataβ once β you need a repeatable workflow.
This guide shows how to batch remove AI metadata from up to 50 images at once, with no account.
What βAI metadataβ usually includes
For most platforms, the primary triggers are:
- C2PA content credentials
- XMP AI generation tags
- EXIF software markers
If you strip those before upload, labels are far less likely to appear.
Batch workflow (fastest way)
- Export your final images from your editor or AI tool
- Upload up to 50 files in one batch
- Remove C2PA + XMP + EXIF (recommended)
- Download the cleaned ZIP
- Upload the cleaned versions to your platform
Photographer workflow: keep camera EXIF
If youβre cleaning real photography that was lightly AI-edited (e.g. background removal), you may want to keep camera make/model and timestamps.
In that case, remove only C2PA/XMP and keep EXIF.
Platform notes
- Meta (Instagram/Facebook): metadata removal works well for most cases.
- Pinterest: still recommended, but results can vary because Pinterest may use additional signals.
- TikTok: thumbnails and still images are often metadata-triggered.
For a quick way to batch remove AI metadata, use Remove AI Label before you upload.
